With almost 20 years of experience as a practicing attorney in charitable and estate planning, Johni Hays is a recognized expert on the subject of charitable gift planning. Hays is the author of the book Essentials of Annuities and co-author of the book The Tools and Techniques of Charitable Planning. She is in demand as a national lecturer on estate and charitable planning, probate, living wills, annuities, life insurance, retirement planning and IRAs, as well as income, estate and gift taxation.

Facilitated by certified AFP Faculty Member Lori Hunter Overmyer, CFRE, this one-day workshop will focus on developing an effective donor relations plan based on what research indicates and what really works.
Session topics include:
- Why organizations lose donors and money.
- How keeping donors increases fundraising success.
- Determining the effectiveness of fundraising efforts through use of the Fundraising Fitness Test.
- Developing a successful donor relations plan.
CFRE Credit- Full participation in this workshop is applicable for 8.0 points of CFRE Credit in Category 1.B.
